BASCULE PRESS

New to bitcoin?

Our books are sold for bitcoin — small amounts, called sats (one sat is a hundred-millionth of a bitcoin; a whole book costs a few thousand, about a coffee). You don't need an exchange account, a bank wire, or a course on cryptography. You need one app and about two minutes.

1. Get a bitcoin wallet. On phone or browser, a wallet is just an app that holds your sats. We recommend Alby — simple, made for small payments like books.

2. Buy sats. Go to Bull Bitcoin, a Canadian bitcoin broker that has been at this since 2013 — no gamble, no tokens, just bitcoin. Register with the link below, buy the amount you want (5 to 10 dollars' worth is plenty for a book), and send it to your Alby wallet. Their site walks you through it.

3. Come back and buy the book. Pick your book, click buy, and your wallet opens with the exact amount ready. Confirm, and the download page appears the moment the payment settles — seconds, not days.

That's the whole ritual. No card numbers given to a stranger, no subscription, no data trail beyond an email for your receipt. A payment rail that settles in seconds and can't charge you back is also the reason a tiny press like ours can sell to anywhere and keep the price at four dollars instead of twenty.

The links above are referral links — if you use them, this press earns a small commission on your first purchase, at no cost to you. They are the only advertising anywhere on this site.
